Audit
During the audit process, a certified auditor will interview you and your famiy to determine your concerns, inspect your home and gather the data necessary to model your home in our software. This is usually a three to four hour undertaking. Using diagnostic equipment such as blower doors, duct fans, Infrared cameras, and more, he will pinpoint areas of your home that are the source of high energy consumption, health hazards, and safety issues. Also, a meaningful audit requires utilitiy bills for all your fuel useage for a full year, if possible, please have this information ready at the time of your homes audit. This data will then be taken back to our office where it will be entered into the software and a full report can be generated.

After the report for your home is generated, we will contact you with the results and discuss what areas we feel should be improved. The report will show estimated cost of each improvement and the time it will take to recover your cost through energy savings. You may be surprised at the short amount of time it will take to show a positive cash flow from your investments You will then be able to decide if you wish to have P.E.S. do the improvements to your home, or have us generate work orders so you may delay improvements till a later time.
Solutions
The report that was generated will contain a number of solutions that can be implemented to the home in order to reduce it's energy consumption. After a decision is made by the home owners as to what improvements they would like to proceed with, PES has the ability to implement the improvements. Be it air sealing, extra insulation, or installing heating and cooling equipment that has higher efficiency, our trained techs can perform the task with all work being done with the highest standards.
