If you ARE considering going solar, may I ask you to do this. First, determine the cost of a solar array using your homes present kw usage. Then determine the cost of the smaller solar array that would be required if your total kw usage was 10% to 30% less. It is this very method that the state of CA uses in it's CA Solar Initiative Program.
